On March 13, 2023, The Prince and Princess of Wales will join other members of the Royal Family for the annual Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey. Afterward, Their Royal Highnesses will attend a reception hosted by the King and Queen Consort at Buckingham Palace.
Rachel Meghan Markle became The Duchess of Sussex when she married Prince Harry, who is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne in May 2018. Meghan is a former American actress known for her role on the hit television show ‘Suits’.

Irish Guards

The Irish Guards – known affectionately throughout the Army as ‘the Micks’ – is an Irish regiment which has proven its loyalty and grit on many tough operations. Its soldiers also have the privilege of guarding royal palaces. St Patrick’s Day is the traditional celebration of the Irish Guards. On this day each year members of the regiment are presented with fresh shamrock from The Princess of Wales.

With a long and distinguished history stretching back more than 300 years, 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards is the Cavalry Regiment of Wales and the Border Counties. Specialising in reconnaissance its soldiers fight for information about the enemy and environment.
