Irish Guards

The Irish Guards – known affectionately throughout the Army as ‘the Micks’ – is an Irish regiment which has proven its loyalty and grit on many tough operations. Its soldiers also have the privilege of guarding royal palaces. St Patrick’s Day is the traditional celebration of the Irish Guards. On this day each year members of the regiment are presented with fresh shamrock from The Princess of Wales.

I think Catherine Middleton, Duchess and now Princess of Wales, is a beautiful woman. She obviously has no limit on funds for her various fashion statements. I only wish someone would tell her to lighten up on her eye makeup. It’s really dark and obscures her lovely eyes with all that black eyeliner.
I saw a photo yesterday, taken at the coronation of King Charles, of Kate’s mother Carole. I noticed that she had similar dark eye shadow and eye liner, that actually made her look older. I suppose this is where Kate got her ideas about eye makeup. I really wish Kate would choose a lighter color that would bring out the natural beauty of her eyes. I’m reminded that Diana often wore a stunning blue eye liner that emphasized her eyes. Maybe Kate could take note of that.
