Today, (February 07) Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge on her first official engagement of the year joined the air cadets to mark their 75th anniversary, as Honorary Air Commandant of the organization. In December The Duke of Edinburgh passed his patronage of the RAF Air Cadets on to the Duchess after 63 years serving as Air Commodore-in-Chief. Catherine first attended a church service following a reception giving Catherine the opportunity to get familiar with the program and activities and to meet and introduce herself to veterans, cadets, and volunteers.
