It has been one exciting and hectic day! The Royal Tour of India and Bhutan kicked off today, April 10, 2016. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in India around 11:00 local time for India and have been moving non stop!

I have updated the gallery so far with over 800 high quality photos with more being as the day goes on. But before you head to the gallery, check out this post to see what the Duke and Duchess did on the first day of their tour!

Arrival To Taj Palace Hotel – Our first look of The Duke and Duchess came as they arrived to the hotel. Because of security reasons no press was allowed at the airport, therefore on this tour we were not able to see them step off of the plane as we have previously before. After their arrival the duo paid tribute to those who had lost their lives in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks by laying a wreath. After a private lunch which was reported to be requested to be vegetarian the Duke and Duchess freshened up and headed to their next location.

Outfit Details: For her arrival Kate wore a custom made Alexander McQueen dress, the Curvy Clutch from Russell and Bromley, the LK Bennett’s ‘Fern’ heels, and her Cassandra Goad Temple of Heaven earrings.

Playing A Little Cricket – Moving on to their next event of the day William and Catherine went to the Oval Maidan cricket grounds where they met with members of the three charities (Magic Bus, Doorstep School, Childline India) who will benefit from the gala they also attended. Taking the time to chat with children, the pair learned a little Hindu and signed a cricket bat. As to be expected The Duke and Duchess also played a little cricket themselves with the children.

The duo then boarded a open air bus to their next stop, the Banganga Water Tank. William and Catherine laid petals in the water during a traditional ceremony, and also received flower garlands themselves. Once again never the ones to shy away from a sport the pair played football with local children, met with representatives from SMILE while touring the Banganga community.

Outfit Details: For her day in the sun, Kate showed support for local Mumbai designer Anita Dongre, Monsoon Fleur wedges, and Filigree Bead Short Drop earrings.
