THE ARRIVAL: The Duke and Duchess touched down at the airport in Victoria, British Columbia at 4:00 P.M. local time with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The couple were greeted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Gregorire. The young family stunned in coordinating blue ensembles, Catherine of course, looked amazing in a Jenny Packham dress and accessorized with a hat by Lock and Co and the Queen’s maple Leaf broach she wore during the first Royal Tour in 2011.

WELCOMING CEREMONY: After dropping Prince George and Princess Charlotte off at the Government House and getting them settled in, The Duke and Duchess headed to the British Columbia Legislative Assembly official welcoming ceremony. They took part in a number of festivities including laying a wreath at the Cenotaph followed by the traditional military honors, including a 21-gun salute, breaking of His Royal Highness’ Canadian Standard, and an inspection of the guard by William. After a few speeches by local dignitaries William took the stage to address the crowds sometimes speaking in “rusty” French. The couple later departed the welcoming ceremony for private meetings with the Governor General and Prime Minister.

Not musch is known about the meetings, but it seemed like the Governor General and the Prime Minister enjoyed their time with Their Royal Highnesses.
