Kate made her first formal appearance since giving birth to Prince George on August 30 at the Ring O’Fire Anglesey Coastal Ultra Marathon alongside Prince William. Kate wore her Zara Printed Top that she wore earlier in her pregnancy while in Switzerland. Kate greeted spectators and spoke to local children.

The Irish Guards – known affectionately throughout the Army as ‘the Micks’ – is an Irish regiment which has proven its loyalty and grit on many tough operations. Its soldiers also have the privilege of guarding royal palaces. St Patrick’s Day is the traditional celebration of the Irish Guards. On this day each year members of the regiment are presented with fresh shamrock from The Princess of Wales.

With a long and distinguished history stretching back more than 300 years, 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards is the Cavalry Regiment of Wales and the Border Counties. Specialising in reconnaissance its soldiers fight for information about the enemy and environment.
