November 04 – The Duchess Of Cambridge Visits The Nelson Trust Women’s Centre

Today, November 04, 2016 The Duchess of Cambridge attended a series of embargoed engagements to HMP Eastwood Park and the Nelson Trust Women’s Centre. Catherine’s first visit was to a prison in Gloucestershire. Kensington Palace said of the visit: “The Duchess met with staff from Eastwood Park who explained the complex and often diverse needs of the women they work with including mental health concerns, family breakdowns, and treatment for addiction. Her Royal Highness also met with a small number of women prisoners to hear their personal stories.” In her second engagement of the day Catherine visited The Nelson Trust Women’s Centre, which is an organization that works with Eastwood Park to support women who have left prison. The Duchess heard stories from women receiving services and upon leaving unveiled a plaque marking her visit. I have added 76 HQ photos to the gallery. Enjoy!
