INFORMATION:

Prince William became patron of 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Philanthropic Initiatives in 2009.

In 2012, Prince Harry and Catherine joined Prince William to become patrons for an additional three years.

EFFORTS:

October 13, 2011 – Child Bereavement Charity Fundraising Gala – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala at St James’ Palace in aid of Prince William’s patronage Child Bereavement UK. The charity supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. During the event the couple chatted with guests and Prince William gave a speech.

10/24/2013 – 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala in aid of Action on Addiction – Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attends a gala dinner in aid of Action on Addiction hosted by the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Philanthropic Initiatives in London, England at Kensington Palace. Action on Addiction is a UK-based charity that works with people affected by drug and alcohol addiction. It works in the areas of research, prevention, treatment, aftercare, as well as professional education and family support. During the event Catherine chatted with guests. She also presented the 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ 2013 European Industry Leadership Award.

10/27/2015 – 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala in aid of the Art Room – Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attends the 100 Women In Hedge Funds Gala Dinner in aid of Catherine’s patronage, The Art Room at Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England. The Art Room offers art therapy to children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, in order to increase their self-esteem, self-confidence and independence. During the event Catherine chatted with guests and presented the 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ 2015 European Industry Leadership Award.
